How do I invite family?

Open the Family tab and tap Invite family. Choose what they can do (view, add photos, or co-parent) and send the code. They install Chaptered, tap "Join with invite code" and enter it.

Can relatives see the album without the app?

Yes. In the Family tab, tap "Create a family web link" and share it. Anyone with the link can browse the album in a web browser and leave a heart or note. Turn it off anytime.

What's a chapter?

Each year of your child's life is a chapter: the Prologue (pregnancy), Chapter 1 (the first year), and so on to Chapter 18. Memories are sorted automatically by the date they happened.

Can I start during pregnancy?

Yes — add the due date as the birthday. When the baby arrives, update it to the real birthday and every memory moves to the right chapter.

How do I add widgets?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and search for Chaptered. You can also see them in the app under Settings → Widgets.

How do I make a Year in Review movie?

Tap Movie next to any chapter in the Journal (or the Year in Review card around a birthday). It's made on your iPhone and you can share it or save it to Photos.

What does Chaptered Plus include?

Video clips, Keepsake Books, a journal for every child and unlimited storage. When a parent subscribes, everyone in that family gets Plus features in that child's journal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions → Chaptered → Cancel Subscription. Your memories stay in your journal.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and the journals you own.

Are my photos private?

Yes. Only people you invite can see a journal, location data is removed from photos before upload, and we never sell data or show ads. See our Privacy Policy.
